GOOLE VIKINGS GEAR UP FOR THEIR FINAL MATCH DAY!
2019 has been a great year for Goole Vikings ARLFC, and despite not quite managing to visit the club this season to feature them on GRM SPORT, I have always kept a close eye on their weekly progress on and off the pitch.
With Gareth Ellis acting as club president, Liam Watts acting as a club ambassador and the recent arrival of John Scarrow as chairman of their junior teams, the newly found Goole Vikings have achieved a lot in their first season. To celebrate their progress and rugby league’s successful return to Goole, they are inviting everyone to come celebrate at their final match on Saturday 7th September at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds, Goole.
Starting at 12, the pitch will feature junior mini matches before the Goole Vikings kick off against Stanningley at 2:30.
The ground will be filled with food stalls, bouncy castles, face painting, activities run by Hull FC (there is a rumour about sumo suits) and guest appearances. More details and further exciting updates can be found on their Facebook page.
