West Bowling Defence Proved Too Good!
West bowling’s defence proved too good for Hull Dockers 12 man team. With Harry Williams right boot being a key part of Bowling’s triumph .
Hull dockers struck first after 3 minutes of play by the right centre Steve Milne and Ben Ronan adding the extras. Dockers went on scoring another 12 points before West Bowling went over the line with Christopher Watson.
After 25 minutes Dockers was forced to 12 men after Jordan Romans dismissal for dissent. At half time Bowling was leading by 6 by tries from Lewis Galtross, Oliver Bartle, Gavin Wilkinson and Harry Williams adding the extras.
5 minutes into the second half and West Bowling struck first with Richard Lumis. With 50 minutes gone Dockers score again with Jon Eccles and Ben Ronan adding another two vital points. 15 minutes later the hull side strike again with Dan Suddaby, making the score line 30-30 with 15 left. Both sides knew they needed to score next and bowling did that with Harry Williams adding a drop goal . To make it 30-31 and 10 minutes to go. Bowling added the last points on the board with Ben Heald. Final score 30-37.
